Most people wouldn’t understand why I’m doing this today.
But when the Twin Towers came down- I stood up & I joined the Navy. When others might have run from danger, I ran toward it.
I wanted to hunt down the cowards that did it & avenge the fallen.
I wanted to defend our country & our freedom.
I wanted to fight on behalf of the families who lost loved ones.
I wanted to serve so that others didn't have to, even if it meant laying down my life.
My name is Tom Royals.

I'm a husband, father, and Veteran who flew combat missions over Iraq and Afghanistan, protecting our troops on the ground.
Most people wouldn’t understand why I’m getting back into the fight after spending 900 hours in the air, being shot at 67 times, and receiving an Air Medal.
And that's fine by me. I'll fight just as hard for them as I would anyone else.
I took an oath to protect and defend our great nation & I'm not going to let anyone stop me from upholding it.
That said- I'm really not the type to send an email asking other people for help.
I probably don't know you & you probably don't know me, so I get it.
But know this- I take great pride in serving my country honorably.
Always have- always will.
Nothing is more important to me than Country, Family, and Service.
So I'm humbly coming to you today- can a veteran like me count on your support?
