Tom's squadron in the news

The reason for the opportunity was to provide an empty seat for the reporter to get a ride in the jet. She did a story on it on the Today show which aired on Friday. The link should take you to the segment. The jet she is in is from my squadron VFA-213, The Fighting Blacklions. They don't mention our squadron but when they are suiting up you can see our patches on her flight suit. And she flew in our nice painted up jet. What didn't make the segment was that I flew back on the next day, rather unceremoniously, aboard a C-2 Greyhound

Tom has had CRAZY 12-14 hour days over the past few weeks, He even had events all sunday...

But it never fails, even after a long stressful day the first thing he does is play with the boys, then he puts them to bed! all before he takes his boots or jacket off.

what a selfless loving Pops! I'm one lucky woman :-)
