Tom Royals here taking a break from the campaign trail to give you an update on my race.

We've been busy on the campaign trail since I took this leap of faith to run for Congress. I've met so many Marylanders who are committed to helping me flip MD-6 RED in November!

From just the last couple of weeks:

- Celebrated Easter with Cathleen and our 9 wonderful children
- Won the MD-06 Debate at Zion Baptist Church in Hagerstown
- Spoke with the Garrett County Women’s Republican Club in McHenry

Navy veteran Tom Royals is still leading in fundraising on the Republican side for the third quarter in a row. This quarter, he raised $172,827 and reported $171,127 in expenditures and $97,088 cash on hand. He’s raised a total of $465,762 across the campaign cycle, outraising former GOP General Assembly members Dan Cox and Neil Parrott.

Some more congressional fundraising nuggets from the 6th and 2nd districts

Among Republicans in the 6th District, Royals led the way on fundraising, bringing in $172,827.51 in the first three months of the year and raising $465,762.52 overall. He finished March with $97,088.50 on hand after spending $171,127.21 over the prior three months.

“With so much on the line, we cannot afford to nominate candidates with a proven track record of losing,” said Royals’ campaign manager, Brendan Duffy. “That is why hardworking families across Maryland’s 6th District are increasingly rallying around former combat aviator Tom Royals.”
